Tournament Results - February 13th

Fifteen of our wrestlers attended the Georgia Grind's True Beginners Tournament. As expected, the competition was fierce with wrestlers traveling in from neighboring states to attend the prior days tournament at South Paulding High School and continue wrestling the following day in either the Grind's open or beginner tournaments. Overall, we posted a combined record of 20-20. Five wrestlers were first year, including Max Stevens who had not wrestled in a tournament before. Jonathan Spratling earned his first win. Overall, our first year wrestlers did well with a combined record of 6-9. Congratulations to Jeremiah Collier and Jonathan Hammond for taking first and Harry Abrahams, Joey Bertrand, David Bertrand, Jac Carlson, and Kyle Denney for taking second. It was great year overall, and we are very thankful for being part of it.

Nava/Breffle End of Season Wrestling Banquet - Sunday, February 20th

Nava/Breffle will host an end of season banquet in the cafeteria at Dunwoody High School on Sunday, February 20th. The banquet will start at 1:00 pm and finish by 3:00 pm. All family members are welcome. There is no cost for club wrestlers; however, there will be a charge of $5.00 per family member up to $15.00 per family to help cover the cost of food and clean-up. We hope to see you all then.

Tournament Results - February 6th

We had 10 wrestlers attend the Brookwood Beginners Tournament, including two wrestlers that have never wrestled in a tournament before (Drew Koehler and Charlie Levy). Overall, we were 23 and 9 with three first place and five second place medals. Congratulations to Josh Carlson, David Bertrand, and Joey Bertrand for placing first, and Pete Carlson, Matthew Guest, Harry Abrahams, Charlie Levy, and Jac Carlson for placing second. Both Drew Koehler and Sam Abrahams wrestled tough and represented us well.
